About Me
Hi, I'm Jyoti, an independent artist based in Mumbai and the founder of Eloquaint.
From picking up art as a hobby to escape the daily grind of life to making it my life and livelihood has been an organic and pleasant journey.

I have no formal degree in art but have been lucky to be surrounded with brilliant creative minds during my corporate stint in Advertising and Consumer Insights. Building an emotional connection with the viewer was part of my job and continues to influence everything I create.

As an avid DIY’er, I’ve attempted most forms of art & crafts, but found myself deeply drawn towards the idea of decorative arts. Apart from its myriad applications and seamless integration with modern design, I’m enamored by its ability to combine visually appealing designs with practical functionality. It allows you to infuse art in objects that can serve a practical purpose besides just looking beautiful. It allows you to experiment with different materials, textures, dimensions, and creates results that are highly individualistic.

In creating my work, I find myself driven by sublime qualities, like Does it bring joy? Does it ignite the imagination? Does it invoke curiosity? Does it spark a conversation? My goal is to create something unexpected. Something that offers a multi-sensory aesthetic experience. Something you don't just admire but feel compelled to touch and interact with.
